Access, Correction and Deletion Requests
Canadian players control their own data. You can ask Vaveya to:
- show what personal data is held about you
- correct details that are wrong or out of date
- stop marketing emails and offers
- close your account and delete your data
Deletion has limits. Anti-money laundering (AML) rules and gaming regulations require some records to be kept after closure.
To send a request, use the contact form and pick the topic Privacy / data request. Under PIPEDA, Canada's federal privacy law, organisations generally have 30 days to reply.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Account data stays on file while your account is active. After closure, it is kept for the period the law requires, then deleted or anonymised.
Self-exclusion records may be kept longer. Without them, the exclusion could not be enforced. The Safety and Responsible Gaming section on the homepage covers the tools themselves.
Contact form messages are kept for up to 180 days. After that, your name, email and message text are deleted. Only anonymised statistics remain: topic, language and date.
Security Measures and Contacting Our Privacy Team
Form messages, including your name, email, topic and text, go to the operator of the site network. This is a separate party acting as a data processor, and it uses them only to review your message and reply. The site itself does not keep a copy after delivery.
- The form sends nothing without your explicit consent. You give it by ticking a box.
- Your IP address is not stored. Only an irreversible hash is used to block abuse.
- The form does not accept attachments.
- Links and contact details in your message are hidden automatically for safety.
Connections at Vaveya online casino use SSL/TLS encryption. Access to data is restricted to staff who need it, and these controls are reviewed regularly. No system is 100% secure, though.
If you are not satisfied with a reply, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to your provincial privacy authority.
Privacy contact: use the contact form with the topic Privacy / data request. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page.
